Welcome to St Andrew's

C of E Primary School

Our school is a place where your child can grow, learn, and thrive. We’re excited to share our brand new video, showcasing our lovely school and giving you a sneak peek into the wonderful experiences we offer our young learners.

Our Christian Vision

Rooted in our Christian Faith, we believe everybody is uniquely made in the image of God, deeply valued and loved. We are committed to nurturing the whole child - academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually - so that all can achieve their full, God-given potential. Through an ambitious, enriching curriculum and excellent teaching, we lay the foundations for lifelong learning and personal growth, preparing children to live life in all its fullness.

We aim to inspire our children to believe in themselves, in one another and in God - encouraging resilience, hope and a sense of purpose. We care for and respect each other, creating a safe, inclusive and compassionate community where diversity is celebrated, everyone's voice is heard and every story matters. United in faith and fellowship, we recognise that we are stronger together - learning, growing and flourishing side by side.

Our Fantastic Children!

Welcome

Welcome to St Andrew’s Church of England VA Primary School. Our happy, caring school aims to enable every child to have high aspirations and to achieve their full potential. Our highly skilled team of staff work tirelessly to ensure that all children flourish academically, spiritually and socially. We are passionate about equipping each child with the skills and attributes they need to become lifelong learners and supporting them to become responsible citizens.

As a Church of England Primary School, we promote the values of our Christian faith throughout our daily lives. Our Christian Values underpin and drive all of our learning and attitudes. We have close links with St. Andrew’s Church and the children visit church to worship and to celebrate Christian festivals.

Our children are truly incredible and are very proud of our special school where we happily achieve, believe and care together.

We hope that our website will provide you with all the information you require about our school. If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

SCHOOL MEAL PRICE INCREASE FROM 23.02.26
Dear parent/carer Please be advised that the cost of a school meal is set to increase from £3.05 to £3.20 per meal from 23rd February 2026. This will result in an overall weekly increase of £0.75 per child. This does not affect children accessing Free School Meals. The government continues to support the universal infant Free School Meals (FSM) project, and this means that all children from reception, year 1 and year 2 will be provided with a school meal free of charge. Any child in years 3-6 can also have a free school meal if you are in receipt of certain allowances. To find out if you are eligible, please visit: https://www.warrington.gov.uk/freeschoolmeals* The council has been subsidising the service over the last few years to try and keep the cost of a meal down. However, increases in food and staffing costs mean that we unfortunately have no option but to increase the price of a school meal. The three weekly rolling menu detailing each day’s main course and dessert, with the additional daily offer of a vegetarian option and jacket potato will remain in place. The school meals service will continue to provide a high-quality service that delivers healthy, nutritious meals, caters for all allergens and dietary requirements, and is served in a safe environment on our school premises. We will continue to offer theme days, treat lunches and inviting families to join children for special lunches through the year. *If your child is eligible for means tested free schools meals you could also be eligible for other funded support, such as Household Support Fund (funding for food and utility bills) and Holiday Activities and Food (summer holiday free activities and food). There are also other financial support schemes available, which you can find on the council website: warrington.gov.uk/localsupportscheme Cassandra Cassandra Small Strategic School Meals Manager Families and Wellbeing Directorate Warrington Borough Council 1 Time Square Warrington WA1 2NT Postal address: Town Hall, Sankey Street, Warrington WA1 1UH 01925 442352 or 07581045403 csmall@warrington.gov.uk

    Christmas Hair Accessories - Clarification
Good evening, A SchoolPing that was sent earlier today was not accurate - apologies. To clarify - children are welcome to wear Christmas hair accessories for the St Rocco's Elf Run and their Christmas Party. When children are in their normal school uniform they should wear a plain bobble as per our uniform policy. As a reminder, children can come to school dressed in party clothes of their choice on their party day but as children will still be playing outside at break and dinner times, we ask that they bring a warm coat and wear sensible footwear. Thank you for your support.
